Masseria Triana
Masseria Triana was founded in Puglia, where Primitivo, a red grape variety now widely grown around the world, has found its ideal home in the Manduria area. Here, the Mediterranean climate, intense sunshine and characteristic red soil rich in iron oxides create the perfect terroir. Furthermore, thanks to constant ventilation and limited temperature variations, Primitivo, the true prince of the area, can express itself to the fullest. This noble red grape can be used to produce mature, juicy wines with great structure, which are at the same time refined and elegant. The winery's goal is to restore a faithful and measured identity, capable of directly conveying the unique characteristics of this environment.
Masseria Triana follows a single metronome: Primitivo, which marks every stage of the work. In the cellar, modern techniques are used with calibrated maceration at controlled temperatures to modulate extraction and preserve aromatic integrity. Ageing takes place in different containers, steel, large barrels or small wooden barrels, chosen according to the desired style for each label. Every step is geared towards precision, cleanliness and expressive consistency.
The style of Masseria Triana wines produces fresh, balanced products: sincere, direct Primitivos with clear fruit, proportionate structure and a natural softness that interacts well with the varietal freshness. The more immediate versions favour drinkability and aromatic cleanliness, while the more structured ones offer depth, dark tones and enveloping roundness. Free from excess and superstructures, the wines of the winery interpret Primitivo in a measured way, allowing the variety and the territory to express themselves clearly.
