"Redimore" ist ein Aglianico aus Irpinia mit einem umhüllenden und warmen Profil, gereift für 12 Monate in Barrique. Noten von Waldfrüchten, süßen Gewürzen und gerösteten Nuancen bereichern einen intensiven und strukturierten Körper, der Weichheit, eine süße Tanninstruktur und lange Persistenz aufweist.

The Aglianico “Redimore” Mastroberardino is a wine that embodies the Campanian winemaking tradition. Mastroberardino, a well-known and renowned production company for its range, has always had a special bond with the Aglianico varietal, having contributed to its recovery in the area and the selection of different clones. Therefore, it is no surprise that when tasting the “Redimore”, one finds all those generous characteristics that distinguish this grape, which, thanks to aging in wood, enriches the nose with interesting tertiary aromas.  A territorial bottle to taste to discover the nuances of an important varietal for the enology of southern Italy.

This “Redimore” Aglianico Mastroberardino originates from those grapes that come from the Tenuta Mirabella Eclano. Here the vines, which are about 10 years old, grow with a southwest exposure, at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level, in a deep and sandy terroir, characterized by the presence of limestone and clay. The must ferments in steel containers, macerating for a long time in contact with the skins. The final aging process then continues, during which the wine first rests for 12 months in oak barriques and then, once the bottling operations are completed, for another 6 months directly in glass.

The Aglianico “Redimore” Mastroberardino presents itself visually with a ruby red color, endowed with a particular intensity. Small red fruit announces itself first on the nose, where spicy notes and hints of roasted coffee also appear. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, and broad thanks to a warm sip, endowed with a pleasant final persistence that prolongs the drink. A red of the Campanian tradition, classic and linear, perfect to be served at the table when the menu includes meat dishes, cooked with various preparations.
