The Bardolino Classico "Olte Longhe" by Casaretti is the harmonious and fruity wine that originates on the eastern shore of Lake Garda. It is a wine made with the indigenous red grape varieties of the Verona area, also cultivated in the nearby Valpolicella region: Corvina and Rondinella. The choice of aging in large barrels allows the wine to soften its profile and achieve perfect expressive maturity, without losing the pleasant fragrance of the grapes. It is a wine that is particularly appreciated for its immediate pleasantness, characterized by aromas of red fruit, floral hints, and a savory vein typical of the terroir.
The Olte Longhe is a Bardolino Classico produced by a family-run winery that has been making wines in the Classica area of Bardolino for generations. The Cantina Casaretti cultivates vineyards in the first inland area of the Veronese shore of Lake Garda. This is an area characterized by a gentle landscape of morainic hills, with soils rich in pebbles and sands. The climate is particularly mild and sweet, thanks to the presence of the basin of Lake Garda. In these particular conditions, the classic grape varieties of the territory ripen very well, always maintaining great freshness. The wines of Casaretti perfectly interpret the characteristics of the place, with delicate and low-extraction vinifications, in order to preserve the elegance and finesse typical of the wines from this area.
