"Le Cince" von De Fermo ist eine meisterhafte und originelle Interpretation des Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, hergestellt aus Montepulciano-Trauben, die bis zur Abfüllung in großen Holzfässern fermentieren und reifen, was den Saft mit duftenden und facettenreichen Noten bereichert. Ein Reigen aus Freesie und rotem Nelken, Himbeeren und Cassis, aromatischen Kräutern und Gewürzen, die einem saftigen, energischen Schluck und anregender Salzigkeit im Finale Platz machen.

The Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Le Cince is a intoxicating and juicy rosé made from Montepulciano, invigorating with energy and sapid push. A splendid interpretation that confirms, if there was still a need, the innate vocation of Montepulciano to be vinified in pink, thanks to interpretations that place it at the top of its type. What is available from the De Fermo winery is a unique terroir, boasting a centuries-old tradition, as in Loreto Aprutino the vine and olive trees have always been the masters. A relatively young winery, extending over 17 hectares, divided between Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Pecorino, and a bit of Chardonnay, with plants that grow without the aid of any chemical or synthetic substances. Pure and centered territorial expressions that satisfy and tell a story!

The Rosato Le Cince is obtained from pure Montepulciano grapes coming from vineyards located between the Adriatic and Gran Sasso trained on trellises in calcareous and clayey soils. The manual harvest with careful selection of the bunches is the seal of a work that does not foresee forced interventions. In the winery after the the destemming-crushing, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation takes place thanks to only indigenous yeasts, in wooden and concrete containers. The aging of the liquid occurs in large wooden barrels and lasts about 8-10 months.

The De Fermo Le Cince presents itself with the typical appearance of Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo, an intense rosé edged with darker reflections. What a beauty the nose of this gem! The initial scent, initially winey, immediately gives way to more detailed and refined nuances of berries, floral embroideries of rose and carnation, as well as spicy and vegetal hints. The sip is slender and dynamic, while not renouncing a satisfying pulp that makes the tasting filling. The salt and freshness, perfectly integrated, extend the persistence of the liquid. Masterful!
