"Brolio" is a Chianti Classico that is nothing short of excellent, continuing the very old tradition of the Ricasoli 1141 winery. In fact, the Ricasoli family is part of the history of Italian and international oenology, with a winemaking memory rooted as far back as the Middle Ages, which saw it export its products throughout Europe during the historical period of the Renaissance. This bottle continues the tale of this virtuous path, presenting itself with an important profile both on the nose and in the mouth, recognized by leading Italian and foreign wine magazines.

This Chianti Classico "Brolio" is made from the pure grapes of a very important red grape variety for Tuscan viticulture, Sangiovese. The clusters of this variety are carefully selected during manual harvesting and then immediately transported to the winemaking facilities of the Ricasoli 1141 winery. After destemming, the grapes are softly pressed, and the resulting must ferments in stainless steel containers at a controlled temperature of between 24 and 27 degrees, macerating on the skins for 14 to 16 days. Subsequent ageing lasts 9 months and is carried out between oak barriques and tonneaux.

The "Brolio" presents itself in the glass with a ruby red colour, marked by slight shades more purplish towards the edges. Concentrated and refined, it expresses the beauty of Sangiovese on the nose, telling notes where red fruit is enriched by sensations of liquorice and anise. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, fascinating thanks to a sip in which the tannic texture is expertly dosed; it closes with a lingering finish characterized by a taste of toasted wood. A label that, with its body and velvety harmony, encapsulates the qualities that the world's most appreciated and well-known Chianti wines have. A surprising wine, to say the least, even for the price at which it is offered
