The Brut Saten by Bellavista is a creamy and elegant classic method, which due to its constant quality level has carved out an important space in the world of Franciacorta, and more generally in Italian sparkling wines. Vittorio Moretti is one of those names that a wine enthusiast cannot ignore, having created, initially almost for fun, a reality capable of reaching the peaks of Italian sparkling wine and becoming a brand known worldwide. The Chardonnay, the local prince grape, and the Pinot Nero, are interpreted in a modern way, thanks to a cutting-edge winery and the use of small barrels for aging as in the case of Saten.
The Franciacorta Saten by Bellavista is produced exclusively from white grapes of the same vintage, in this case pure Chardonnay. Another particular characteristic of the Saten is the pressure of the bottles, which must be less than 5 bars. This results in a sparkling wine that is silky, velvety, with a fine and less perceptible perlage. Coming from the vines of Chardonnay that have better exposure, the grapes are meticulously selected first in the vineyard and then in the winery. The aging of the base wines takes place in small barrels of white oak, which are subsequently blended for the sparkling process. Extremely limited production, for a bubbly that since 1984, the first year of production, is an emblem of sensuality and seduction.
The Saten by Bellavista, just poured into the glass, shows an abundant and creamy foam, as well as a perlage of rare finesse. At the first sniff, it unfolds with floral notes, of peach and elderflower, not skimping on hints of dried fruit, such as hazelnut. The profile, rich and varied, is integrated with pastry notes that entice tasting.
