'Masseria' Cambria 2021
Masseria Cambria is a wine of strong personality and typically territorial character. It is, in fact, made with ancient Sicilian indigenous grape varieties, within an unspoiled environmental context, with vineyards surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub. The ruby red color with slight purple reflections reveals the fragrant youth of the wine, which opens to the nose with aromas of small dark berries, ripe cherry, hints of aromatic herbs, and light memories of vanilla and noble woods. The enveloping and harmonious sip captivates with a generous and elegant fruit, leading to a fresh and pleasantly savory finish.
Mediterranean, always ventilated by the presence of the Maestrale and the mild sea breezes. At the end of the harvest, the grapes undergo fermentation at controlled temperatures with skin maceration. The wine matures for about 4 months in French oak barrels of various sizes and completes its aging with a few months in the bottle before being released for sale.Masseria Cambria is a wine of strong personality and typically territorial character.
