The Trebbiano "Anfora" is an expressive and original interpretation of the intimate relationship that exists between Trebbiano and one of its prime areas of choice. "A message of unconditional love": this is how Francesco Cirelli, owner of several hectares of vineyard in Atri, province of Teramo, describes his vision of wine and everything concerning its production. Embracing an agriculture that respects the territory was therefore a spontaneous choice, as was the decision to enhance native grape varieties and to continue in the winery with spontaneous fermentations. Emblematic liquids, readers of territory and vintage, but that do not give up elegance and linearity, thanks to perfect management during the winemaking process by Francesco and his collaborators.

The white "Anfora" comes from pure Trebbiano grapes grown in the province of Atri, all from owned vineyards. Hand harvesting is just a natural seal of the approach adopted by Francesco both in the vineyard and in the winery, under the banner of the least possible intervention. The grapes, after being destemmed and crushed, are transferred to terracotta amphorae, where fermentation will take place thanks to a previously prepared pied de cuve and solely through the intervention of indigenous yeasts. A brief maceration of one day on the skins precedes the malolactic fermentation and aging, which will take place in the same amphorae for 12 months.

The Trebbiano D'Abruzzo "Anfora" fills the glass with an intense yellow hue, leaning towards gold. It impresses with its ability to skillfully blend spontaneity with innate elegance, showcasing notes of yellow-fleshed fruit, iodized hints, and mineral bursts. The sip is compact, and the material it naturally possesses is perfectly balanced by freshness and sapidity, for a zen wine that makes harmony its main weapon. The almondy return enhances the complexity of the liquid, which sits at everyone's table on any day, participating in an engaging and dynamic way. Outstanding quality for the price.
