The ‘Neromaestri’ of Quarticello is a fruity and pleasantly rustic Lambrusco, distinguished by its immense smoothness and spontaneity. The Quarticello winery, located in the province of Reggio-Emilia, represents the small artisanal reality of Roberto Maestri, a young winemaker who pursues a natural production philosophy aimed at enhancing the pure expression of the terroir. Following this principle, the ‘Neromaestri’ is crafted according to the Ancestral Method, with the sparkling process taking place by bottling the wine with still some natural sugars to ferment. The title of the label refers both to the surname of its creator and to the variety of Lambrusco that prevails in the blend.

Quarticello Lambrusco ‘Neromaestri’ is produced from a blend of Lambrusco Maestri (70%) and Lambrusco Grasparossa (30%), grown in the municipality of Montecchio Emilia under certified organic practices, on clayey and sandy soils, with the presence of gravel at low depth. The alcoholic fermentation is entrusted exclusively to indigenous yeasts and the maceration on the skins lasts between 6 and 8 days. In accordance with the Ancestral Method, the liquid is then bottled with still part of the sugars to convert and the aging in glass extends for about 6-8 months. Throughout the entire processing, the wine does not undergo filtration.

The Lambrusco Quarticello ‘Neromaestri’ has a lively ruby red color, with rich and persistent perlage. The aromatic profile is defined by notes of grape must, berries, strawberry and cherry juice, and rustic hints of underbrush. Fragrant and dry taste, with a marked agility that makes the drink incredibly smooth. With its genuine and convivial character, the Lambrusco ‘Neromaestri’ will bring joy to aperitifs and evenings in company.
